Ndao, Indonesia

BRIEF HISTORY: One of the 19 states on the island group of Roti, southwest of Timor. The state represented 2 separate islands from Roti, one inhabited with a population of 2,156 (today c3,500) on the other island. Named Dhao by the people who believe they came originally from Sumba.
